I have my webcam but no drive - Computers & Internet

When you went to the Gateway website and downloaded drivers, did you notice that under drivers there was nothing for the webcam? Use this link and download the webcam application under Applications tab. The driver is included in the application.

Download driver off net from vendor

You will need to install driver BEFORE you plug n webcam or will not work at all.
Only plug it in when told to.

i have a microsoft lifecamvx-1000 but no disk drive how do stall the webcam without using the cd?

Vist the Logitech website and select the desired webcam software adequate for your operating system and download!

YOU can go on the internet and look for the driver to download

eg: LOGITECH WEBCAM 9000
GOOGLE: LOGITECH WEBCAM 9000 DRIVER DOWNLOAD..

please follow me with following stepes so you can solve this problem.
since there is not enough informations on your question , so we start from begining.
plese click on start from popup list click on control panel .and open it,
chose add remove programs , make sure if your web cam is listed or not , if it is please click on remove and follow the screen.
after removing ,
duble click on my computer icon and chose Drive C ,if it is your main hard drive (mostley C is main hard drive with oporating system instaled, if not chose what ever letter shows your main hard drive)
doubl click omn it and click on progaram files , from next page find your webcam folder and delet it ,next emty your trash bin,
reboot your pc , and put your webcam CD in cd drive (do not conect your webcam) after instaling driver out of cd ,if it asked you to conect your webcam during driver instalation do so please,).
if it did not ask you , finish your instalation reboot (restart)your pc , now conect your webcam,
wait until windows find your hardware and follow the instructions.
