I would like for you to set up all your uniden phones for the charger jacks. Then please wait several minutes for the phones to gain a suitable charge for TESTING. Before picking up a phone to test it, please unplug all phones for electric power , THIS INCLUDES the charging jacks, answering machine, main unit etc. Wait one minute then plug all devices back in. If your still have issues, please take out the new battery that you purchased and try it on a different uniden phone. If the problem persists, then the battery (NEW) is a bad battery. If the problem does not persist, then you know it is the HANDSET
