Hi ,
If you still have Vista on your machine , insert W 7 install disc and select " upgrade " and you should'nt worry about drivers .
If you already have installed W 7 , let W 7 search the missing drivers ( go to the device manager and select the yellow triangles ) .
If some drivers are still missing , you will need to search manually on the manufacturre's site .
Good luck !
Regards ,
Thanks for visiting Fix Ya .
Going to Win 7 will not solve your driver or compatibility problems as Win Vista and Win 7 use basically the same drivers. You need to the drivers for you hardware. Motherboard drivers on the disc that it came with are a good place to start. If you have lost/misplaced the motherboard driver disc then you can download the motherboard drivers from the manufactures website. Only buy software that is 'best of breed'. In other words commonly used commercial software that is highly rated. Don't use 'freeware' and other rubbish as this screws with your OS. Commercial S/W manufactures never have compatibility issues. If you are getting compatibility problems with software you have loaded then you are using obscure applications that are not closely aligned with Microsoft. Dump them and get mainstream apps.
