Is your phone connecting to a hosted PBX provider or is it connecting to a premise-based IP PBX? Incoming and outgoing calls are usually handled by two separate connections between your PBX and the service provider SIP trunk. Sounds like a registration problem with the SIP trunk. There is nothing you can do from the phone itself to fix this.

try resetting the vlan settings if that doesnt work ensure that the default gateway and dns settings are correct.

reset the vlan settings see if that does the trick

check what ports your service needs for voip then open them on your router (under the firewall heading)

It's not really asking for a TFTP update, it's just something that is always checked for in the boot sequence.

As for manually setting the networking configuration rather than using DHCP, see page 14 of the manual at

for instructions on how to bypass DHCP and manually configure your settings.

How do you mean it cannot read the IP Address. Default is 196.168.254.2. Type that into a web browser and see if it connects.

Your phone has two passwords, administrative and http. If you lose http but still have administrative you can fix this through the web interface as your are trying. If both are lost then you will have to reset the phone to factory defaults by using TFTP to update the frimware. Note that this will result in you starting from scratch with your configuration.

I bought SNOM 300 and i was unable to connect the router in first go. it was keep saying Send DHCP reqt but nothing was happening. i tried even connecting SNOM 300 dirctly to my laptop but in vain. in last i started receiving message Ethernet cable unplugged.

I reset the SNOM 300 to the factory defaults which solved the problem immediately.

Get to the phone menu "configuration-Reset" and select this option. it will ask for the admin password which is 0000. This will fix the issue. try it.
