You do not need to unscrew anything. Instead, simply take the beard trimmer (with the beard shaving blade still screwed on) in your hand, with the power button and "CONAIR" logo facing you. Then, put your thumb under the shaving blade and apply force to pop it off. So, the shaving blade, and the top part of the unit that it's screwed into will simply pop off. Then, you simply align the nose/ear hair attachment, and snap it in to the beard trimmer unit.
Depends on how old it is. If it has a disc blade, it won't fit (there's no blade boss to fit it to!), but if a standard blade is fitted, it can be replaced with a scaifier blade. Having said that, rotary mowers aren't really suited to the task - better to get a cheap cylinder mower and fit a scarifier cylinder. MUCH more effective.
