Hello. I got a wii problem i hope you can help me with.
Every time I switch on my
Wii, it freezes after about 5 seconds. The blue light comes on about a
second before - showing it's due to a message that it freezes. I know
that the message is a massive chain email full of massive
colourful text and loads of hyperlinks - because my it is a message that my friend sent, both to the Wii and to my email inbox. I guess that the message has taken up the Wii's
memory or something, and the only way I can see to fix the problem
would be to restore it to factory settings - but the Wii always freezes
before i can get into the wii settings menu.
I have also tried removing the internal lithium battery - did so for several hours but the message remained.
Is it possible to delete things on the wii or wipe the memory without having to access the menu?
Would be great if you could help!
Many thanks

I'm not sure that you can reset it to factory without using the menu. However if you have an SD card you might try putting that in. The wii might see that and use that as memory since the wii memory is full and boot up.
