Full Engine Power is no longer available. "You can continue your journey, but moderate your speed and exercise due caution. Have the engine checked as soon as possible."

Check the Air Filter, and replace it if necessary, also get your AIS(Air Induction System) checked, maybe the wrong fuel air mixture ratio is reaching the engine resulting in lower performance. If the problem is NOT in the morning's first start and its occurring when you drive the car for a few kilometers, then the engine valves have a problem.
In the next oil change activity, have your engine washed by draining the oil from it and filling the engine with around 1 liter of petrol with the oil drain clip in place, and the start your engine at idle for about 30-35 seconds, and turn it off and drain the petrol from engine by removing the oil drain clip, it'll remove all the dirt from the engine and then use some synthetic oil for engine. This whole procedure will give you loads of performance and your car performance will be like brand new again!

How to change an oil pan gasket?

You do not have much information to reply to.

First, buy the proper gasket, oil filter and enough oil for your vehicle so that you can complete the job. You will also need a drain pan large enough to hold all of the oil you drain out of the engine (5 quarts is usually what you need). You will also need sockets, wrenches a rubber mallet to remove the pan as well as rags to wipe up any spills.

You will need enough access under the vehicle to crawl under it and place the drain pan under the drain plug. (you might need to either use ramps or jack the car up to gain access. Be careful.)

Use a wrench to remove the drain plug turning counter clockwise to remove. The oil will then drain out. (make sure you have a rag to wipe up any spilled oil). Use an oil filter wrench to remove the oil filter from the engine.

Look up at the pan and you will see lots of small bolts around the upper part of the pan. These are what holds the pan to the engine. They must be removed. If the pan is stuck to the engine after removing all of the bolts, us the rubber mallet to GENTLY tap around the top part of the pan to break it free from the engine (be very careful as the metal of the oil pan is very thin and easily bent).

Lower the pan from the vehicle and clean, removing all traces of the old gasket from the pan as well as the engine. (use a putty knife and be careful not to put any gouges in the pan or engine surface.

Place the new gasket on the top of the pan, place it up against the engine and hand tighten all of the bolts. Then using a socket, gently tighten the bolts (clockwise) using a cross pattern to keep the gasket from warping. (do NOT over tight the bolts as they will break off fairly easily) Do not forget to tighten the oil drain plug as well.

Replace the new oil filter on the engine and add the proper amount of oil.

Start and run the engine and check for any leaks.
Turn off and let sit for a minute and re-check the oil level.

How do you do a oil change on a 2005 dodge neon sxt

After getting all oil,oil filter and oil catch pan if I havent bought one, I warm my vehicle for a few min to get teh oil flowable. then raise the front end and locate the drain plug on the oil pan. Place an oil catch pan (5-8.00 @ most stores) under the oil pan and carefully remove the drain plug. I then lower the vehicle and wait till all oil is removed. Raise the vehicle tehn replace oil drain plug and tighten, careful not to over tighten, then slid the oil catch pan under the oil filter and remove the oil filer, some oil will spill here so rubber gloves and papper towels come in handy for this part. Lay the old oil filter on the oil catch pan to allow the old oil to drain while relacing with new oil filter. I rub a thin film of oil on the rubber seal of the oil filter before threading back onto the engine. lower vehicle and add new oil as needed. start vehicel then check for any leaks then shut off engine and check oil level and add more if needed. I then poor the oil oil in the empty oil container so I can drop off at wal mart or other oil recycling center.

How do i change the oil on my 1988 toyota pick up?, and what equiptmemnt do i need? how much oil do i need? and what is the proper weight for the oil....ie 20-50 etc what are the proper part numbers for...

go to a parts store and they will give you all the right supplies and tell you how to do it. There is a drain plug on the bottom of your oil pan take plug out and let oil drain. Take out oil filter by hand or with a oil filter wrench. Take new filter and fill it with as much oil as you can without spilling it all over putting filter back in, apply a thin coat of fresh oil to the rubber ring on the oil filter and screw it back on the engine hand tight (do not tighten using a wrench). Put drain plug back in. Fill engine back up with oil. Replace oil cap> Done.
