I cant unlock my iphone 3gs

If you have forgotten iPhone passcode and it resulted in failure to unlock your iPhone. You can follow below steps to unlock it with iTunes or iCloud.

-Use iCloud
  • (1). Open and log in iCloud on your laptop or PC that is connected with the iPod touch.
  • (2). Click Find My iPod and let it start to search and connect with your iPod touch APP.
  • (3). When iCloud is connected to the iOS device, its position will be fixed and shown on the map, then click the option at the upper right of Clear iPod and follow the next indication.
-Use recovery mode

  • (1). If iTunes prompts you to enter the password, and you cannot remember it, try to use the recovery mode to unlock iPod touch without password. Given that you are using recovery mode, you are not able to backup before resetting device, which means that you are going to lose all the data on the iPod touch.
  • (2). Close iPod device completely. Hold Power button and slide the Power Slider to close iPod touch.
  • (3). Connect your iPod touch to the computer and use iTunes to enter into recovery mode.
  • (4). Open iTunes and hold Power+Home buttons long before the logo of Apple appears. Then click Recovery Mode.
  • (5). Click Set Up As New iPod Touch. Initialize the settings of your iPod touch and import the backup and restore the data.

I just bought ipod touch i cannot do anythiing because all you can see is itune logo

The iPod Touch gives users the ability to enjoy videos and music while on the go. Users can also surf the Internet on the iPod Touch. Before you can start using the iPod Touch, though, the device will need to be activated. When you activate the iPod Touch, you will register the device and sync the player with your iTunes account. Completing this process will allow you to purchase content from the pre-installed App Store and iTunes applications found on the iPod Touch.

1. Connect the Apple iPod Touch to the computer using the iPod Touch USB cord.

2. Open iTunes on the computer.

3. Click the word "iPod" underneath the "Devices" menu, located on the left part of iTunes.

4. Click the "Continue" button in the middle iTunes window. Then, click the "License Agreement" box. Click the "Continue" button once more.

5. Enter your iTunes Store account information inside the middle iTunes window. Then, click "Continue." Then, type in the requested personal information (such as name, address, etc.) to register the iPod Touch with Apple.

6. Click the "Not Now" button on the "Mobile Me" page to skip this step. Signing up for Mobile Me isn't necessary for activating the iPod Touch.

7. Select the "Set up as new iPod" option inside the middle of iTunes. Enter a name for your iPod Touch inside the text box that's in the iTunes window. Then, click "Continue."

8. Choose one of the sync settings listed in the center iTunes window. Whether you decide to manually or automatically sync your iPod Touch with iTunes is up to you--you can change this setting at any time. After you've selected a sync setting, click "Done." The iPod Touch will be activated. From here, you can add music to your iPod Touch or disconnect the player. Only disconnect the iPod Touch after you see the "OK to Disconnect" message appear at the top of iTunes.

I hope you find it very helpful. Best regards.

I forgot my passcode and cant get in to my ipod what do i do?

This has worked with me every time I have done it so it should work.

1. Open up iTunes on your PC and connect your iPod.
2. When iTunes loads up, click on your iPod on the left task bar.
3. When the screen loads up, click on 'Backup iPod'. Type in a passcode to access it later and write it down and KEEP IT SAFE! Very important. Then click on OK.
4. Let iTunes back up your iPod.
5. Then, On the same screen, click on 'Restore'.
6. It should say something about that the restore needs to be allowed by Apple. On that popup, click OK.
7. Wait for the iPod to be restored.
8. Another screen should come up saying if you want to set up the iPod as a new one or from a backup file. Select 'Restore from backup ______'s iPod' and everything will be put back on your iPod.

If this doesn't work, Follow the steps above again but missing out step 3. And when you get to step 8, instead of selecting 'Restore from backup ______'s iPod' select set up as new iPod. The you will either have to put everything back on manually or iTunes will Sync your iPod and it will do everything for you.

Hope it helps. Good luck.

I forgot the password to my ipod touch

There is only one way, you must restore the ipod which wipes out everything if you forgot it.

Updating and Restoring iPod touch Software
You can use iTunes to update or reinstall iPod touch software, restore default settings, and delete all data on iPod touch.
• If you update, the iPod touch software is updated. Your downloaded applications, settings, and data aren’t affected.
Note: In some cases, an update may also include restoring iPod touch.
• If you restore, the latest version of iPod touch software is reinstalled, settings are restored to their defaults, and data stored on iPod touch is deleted, including downloaded applications, songs, videos, contacts, photos, calendar information, and any other data. If you’ve backed up iPod touch with iTunes on your computer, you can restore data from the backup at the end of the restore process.
Deleted data is no longer accessible via the iPod touch user interface, but isn’t erased from your iPod touch. For information about erasing all content and settings, see “Resetting iPod touch” on page 122.
Update or restore iPod touch:
1 Make sure you have an Internet connection and have installed the latest version of iTunes from www.apple.com/itunes.
2 Connect iPod touch to your computer.
3 Select iPod touch in the iTunes sidebar and click the Summary tab.
4 Click “Check for Update.” iTunes tells you if there’s a newer version of the iPod touch software available.
5 Click Update to install the latest version of the software. Or click Restore to restore. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the restore process.

Forgot password to my i-pod touch and need to get

I'm to have to tell you this but... The only way I know how to get past that is to restore the iPod in iTunes then when it's done, set up as a new iPod. I suggest putting the iPod into recovery mode first.

Hold the top button and the home button until the apple logo appears then let go of the top button and keep holding the home button. A picture with an arrow pointing to iTunes should come up.

Plug your iPod into iTunes now and click restore. When it is done restoring, it will ask you if you want to set it up as a new iPod or restore to previous settings. SET IT UP AS A NEW IPOD!!!! Now resync all of your applications and music.

Their may be a better solution out there, but this is the only one I know.

How to sync .ipa files from comp to iphone thru itunes ?

when you sync the iPhone with the computer, iTunes will only add what is new, it will not delete your apps.

Setting Up Syncing You use iTunes on your computer to set up which items are synced. Make sure you have the most recent version of iTunes (On a PC, open iTunes and choose Help > Check for Updates. On a Mac, open iTunes and choose iTunes > Check for Updates.
Step 1: Connect iPhone or iPod touch
  1. Connect iPhone or iPod touch to your computer using the included cable. You can connect the cable from your computer directly to iPhone or iPod touch, or connect the cable from your computer to the Apple Universal Dock (available separately) and put iPhone or iPod touch in the dock. By default, iTunes opens automatically.
  2. Select iPhone or iPod touch in iTunes under Devices on the left hand side and click the Info tab.
Step 2: Set Up Which Items Are Synced Click the respective tabs in iTunes to specify which media and information you want synced from your computer to iPhone or iPod touch.
For more information about syncing iPhone with your computer see the iPhone User's Guide:
On your computer: click here to download and view "Chapter 1: Getting Started" in iPhone User Guide.
On iPhone: Tap Safari and view http://help.apple.com/iphone/guide/.
For more information about syncing iPod touch with your computer:
On your computer, click here to download and view "Chapter 1: Getting Started" in iPod touch User Guide.
On iPod touch: Tap Safari and view http://help.apple.com/ipodtouch/guide/.

Step 3: Sync iPhone or iPod touch Click Apply in the lower-right corner of the screen. Your computer syncs with iPhone or iPod touch according to your settings.
The first time you sync iPhone or iPod touch, you are asked if you want to merge data, replace data on the service, or replace the data on your computer. After that, anytime you connect iPhone or iPod touch to your computer, iTunes opens and syncs with iPhone or iPod touch according to your settings.
You can adjust sync settings anytime iPhone or iPod touch is connected to your computer. You can only connect and sync with one iPhone or iPod touch at the same time. If you need to sync more than one iPhone or iPod touch, disconnect one before connecting the other.
Note: Syncing won't delete any contact in Yahoo! Address Book that contains a Messenger ID, even if you've deleted the contact from your address book on iPhone or your computer. To delete a contact containing a Messenger ID, log in to your Yahoo! account online and delete the contact using Yahoo! Address Book.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe
