Udraw doesn't work - brand new unit - connects fine - and navigation in menues works - but pen won't draw. What are we doing wrong?

I just brought a Wii with U studio and tablet. but my disc is not showing on the screen wii menu sccreen. It says error loading disc. It will be a help if someone could help to fix this problem.

    I have the same issue. I have done everything I can think of, My daughter has never gotten to even play it for 2 seconds! Both discs, the one that came with it and the princess one. Neither will even attempt to load, but all her other games work.

Mke sure that you are pressing on the pen correclty and that your remote is properly inserted. Also make sure that your Wii is updated and free of debris on teh vents in the back. Try restarting after you have checked all this and you shuld be good to go.

How to update Wii for Udraw?
Hello. First, you need to click on the button in the wii menu to the lower left. then, click the right one. then keep going left till you see it! there you have it! the updater button! (you must have a working internet connection for it to work. which you can find also in the same area but not on the same page)

Animator 2 for Bamboo won't hardly let me draw. Occasionally a line will show up after trying for several minutes to get it to respond. I purchased my tablet only a month or two ago, and it works...
I had sort of the same problem, but I tried changing my settings and it worked.

I used to have my pen on the Mouse Mode, but changed it to Pen Mode and Animator 2 works fine again!

When opening unit with it turned over and facing front this is the wiring diagram from left to right. 1= red/gold 2=blue/gold 3=blue 4=green 5=red 6=ground 7=green/gold note: 5 red and 6 ground are inside a shielded gray wire.

When I draw it is showing backwards on screen, right to left? Yet drawing left to right.
Make sure you are holding the tablet the right way. If the problem persists just try to recalibrate or reset the Udraw or the wii.

How do you save your drawing to an SD card?
The SD slot is on the Wii itself, not the tablet. Insert the SD card and just save it from the Udraw menu.

Make sure that the remote control is completely connected to the board and that the board is not facing backwards.

If this doesn't solve it, restart the game and check if the Wii needs a software update in the Main Menu.

Pen working incorrectly
