Remove the hose and lay it straight. Then using a broom or mop handle, push it into the hose and collapse the hose on the handle as far as you can. (Think crinkling your socks to pull them over your feet). You'll be doing much the same as you pull the hose up onto the handle. If you have no resistance from one end, then do the same things from the other end. Then replace the hose onto the vac and turn on the power. Your pushing with the broom/mop handle should dislodge whatever is caught and the suction from the vac should pull it through the rest of the way. I hope this helps. If so, please rate my solution.
