As the motherboard only supports IDE interface for Hard drive it is unlikely you will be able to connect anything more than 128GB to it depending on the BIOS version you have. Also you may be limited to using only upto WindowsXP with this.
just go to in bios setup using F2 or del key and change the booting sequence.and set 1 cd-rom 2.hdd now save and restart system now you are able to boot from cd rom r dvdrom
Enter the BIOS using the key that the POST screen indicates. After entering the BIOS, you should be able to navigate to a tab that says "restore factory defaults" (or something similar). This will allow you to reset your BIOS settings to default.
Check you Ram. If possible, try with another working ram. Clean the port. It is also possible that your cpu is overclocked, remove the bios battery and leave it outside for few minute and reinsert it and boot the system.
If this doesn't helps, you'll need to check your display card also. Try the monitor on another pc. Still here to assist you further.
good luck and thanks for using FixYa.
Doing a BIOS-upgrade incorrectly can "kill" the motherboard. If you _need_ to upgrade the BIOS, take the computer to a qualified technician.
If you do _NOT_ "need" to upgrade, then don't try.
the hard drive registered in the standard cmos utility is the only one that could be registered for boot in advanced cmos setup and no other, if your usb hard drive and pen drive could be registered in the advanced cmos setup - where boot options are registered, surely it will boot your pc.
