Our Fisher Price Bigfoot toy just beeps twice and then does nothing else. Batteries are completely charged and we changed the batteries in the remote. We have only had it a month and it is my son's favorite toy!!! Help!

I know you can get these on Ebay. Also most NI-MH 9 volt battery charges will charge this battery pack. You can use a 9 Volt Snap Battery Connector with Alligator Clips to bridge the connection between the battery pack and the NI-MH 9 volt batter charger. This is how I charge this battery pack now. You can probably get the 9 Volt Snap Battery Connector with Alligator Clips at a radio shack or on Amazon... as well as a NI-MH 9 volt battery charger.. don't hook up the leads backwards :)
There is a pen hole beside power switch........with the power off press and hold this button (with a safety pen or something)....while holding the button turn it on and hold the button for at least 3 seconds. Then push every button on the remote, then charge the battery until the indicator is "green". That will fully reset your Bigfoot.
We just got one yesterday and its doing the same thing. We charged the battery all day yesterday...it Finally turned green and still does the beep 3 times and nothing else. So i put it back on the charger and now the light has been red for the past 4 hrs...not sure why it would still need to charge for so long when we haven't even gotten to play w/ him??? Play let me know if u find a solution. Huge bummer for my son.
We just got one too. I was on clearance but NIB . Went to use him for the first time and he did the same thing. Beep's twice ( motor malfunction or something according to FP website) and thats all. VERY DISAPPOINTING! It was late in the day so I couldn't call Customer Service, but found a tip on here to reset it with a pin or pen in the hole by the switch on his foot . ( Have him turned off insert pin into hole till it clicks, then switch him on while holding the pin in. You'll hear it make sounds for a while and then beep at the end. After that test him with the remote and see if he does anything new. ) We did this and it enabled him to do a few things more than what he was doing but still no where near full working order. The next day I called Fisher Price and basically they told me it was irreparable. And offered to send me a voucher. Well, thats all well and good but my son wanted THIS toy! Of course it has been discontinued too. Mama won't quit till she has tried everything, so I break out the toolbox and remove the 10 screw on BigFoots back and then remove his chest piece . Its still attached by wires so I had to be careful, not to damage that connection. Inside I saw the circuit board and although I know NOTHING about electronics like that, I wiggled each connection and made sure they were tight, blew on it in case there was any dust and just did a general gentle jiggle of all the parts. What did I have to lose? LOL. And you'll never believe what happened... HE WORKS GOOD AS NEW NOW!!!! I kid you not. He does everything he is supposed to do and my son loves him. So, I all I am saying is, its worth a shot to open him up and try it. I can't promise it will work for you , but I can promise it worked for me. Good Luck!
Most likely a defective battery. Typically these Power Wheels batteries only last a couple of years. If yours is under a year old, you might want to contact Fisher Price about a replacement under warranty.
