Entered wrong pin code and now my telstra ZTE F156 is blocked and i need the PUK code,but it says 'phone blocked try after 12 hours.PLEASE HELP!!

These directions are for an AT and T phone, but other than that, are the same for any carrier. A PUK (PIN Unlock Key) code is required to unlock SIM cards that have become locked following three successive incorrect PIN entries. If your SIM card becomes locked, you will need to get a PUK code from your phone carrier to unlock your SIM card. You can obtain your phone's PUK code from your carrier in one of these ways: Log in to Your account.online Use a Technical Support Chat Contact your carriers Customer Care Get Your Phone's PUK Code Online Go to the Phone/Device page. From the My Phone/Device screen, select the Unblock SIM Card link under the My Make & Model heading. The Unblock SIM screen will display your PUK code and will give you instructions for unblocking your SIM Card. Once you receive your PUK code, you will need to enter it into your phone to set a new PIN code. Note: If you enter the wrong PUK code 10 times in a row, your SIM card will be invalidated, and you will need to purchase a new SIM Card. The phone will display the following error: "PUK blocked call operator

Im after a puk code for my nokia 2730 classic can anyone help me?

Hi, PUK means "Personal Unlocking Key" and it is asked if you enter wrong pin for three times. You are then given 10 attempts to enter the PUK. (it is printed on the voucher of sim card when you have purchased the sim) Your sim card will be blocked permanently if you still entered incorrect PUK code after the 10th attempt.
And if ever you lost the voucher you have only 2 ways to get rid of the PUK code:
1. Replace the sim card or 2. Call the phone company that released the sim card. They will give you the PUK code once you give them your account details and they have confirmed your identity.
GoodLuck=)

If you have AT&T ;

Sorry to inform you but it sound like your SIM is now locked .. Here is some info to help.

please take the time to review my advice and be kind and leave a feedback rating it helps me too.

You can receive your phone's PUKcode from AT&T, either by logging into your account at myWireless Account, visiting our Technical Support Chat, or by calling CustomerCare at 1-800-331-0500.

Once your PUK has been received, it will need to be entered into yourphone to set a new PIN code.

If the wrong PUK code is entered ten times in a row, the SIM card2_bing.gif becomesinvalid and you will need to purchase a newSIM Card2_bing.gif. The phone will display "PUK blocked call operator".

UNBLOCK MY PUK CODE

Hi everyone

Every PUK code is unique so nobody can tell you your PUK number, but i will tell you what you can do!
1) If you still have your packet that your Sim Card came in, you should find your PUK number in there, if you don't have the packet, please read bellow.

2) You must get a phone that is on the same network as your phone and call the networks Customer Care and ask them for your PUK number, they will ask you for your phone number, then they will tell you your PUK number. Once you have done this, you will be able to reset your Pin number so you will be able to go into your phone again.

Please also remember to give this solution a FixYa! rating if it helps you.

Kind regards

Can you please provide me with the PUK code for my phone please?

Complete information :
The SIM card protects your subscription and not the phone from unauthorised users. If you change SIM cards you can still use your phone with a new SIM card. Most SIM cards are blocked at the time of purchase. If your SIM card lock is on you have to enter your PIN (Personal Identity Card) every time you turn on the phone.

If you enter the wrong password three times in a row the SIM card gets blocked. This is indicated by the message PIN Blocked To unblock this you need to enter your PUK

Note:

card (Personal Unblocking Key). Your PIN and PUK is supplied by your service provider. You can edit your PIN and select a new four to eight digit number
  • If the Message Codes do not match appears when you edit your PIN you entered the new PIN incorrectly.
  • If the message Wrong PIN followed by Old PIN appears then it means that you have entered the old PIN incorrectly.

To unblock your SIM card:
  1. When PIN Blocked appears enter your PUK > OK
  2. Enter a new four to eight PIN > OK
  3. Re-enter the new PIN to confirm > OK

To edit your PIN:
  1. > Settings > the General tab > Security > Locks > SIM Protection > Change PIN
  2. Enter your PIN > OK
  3. Enter a new four to eight digit PIN to confirm > OK

To turn the SIM card On /Off
  1. > Settings > the General tab > Security > Locks > SIM Protection > Protection and select On or Off
  2. Enter your PIN > OK
