I understood your problem friend its a common problem. You have not specified your Operating system but i am going to explain you for both Xp and Windows7.

If you have such a problem in Xp then dont worry just reboot your laptop and open it in safe mode then you will find Administrator account then > Go to CONTROL PANEL > USERS > Change Current password. then Reboot your laptop then open XP in Normal Mode.

I am sorry to say this but if you have Windows7 then no such a option is available to crack the password. you should format your laptop to repair this. otherwise use password recovery key option.

It seems that you are just missing the correct drivers for the specific on-board audio devices of the ASUS eeePC 1000H.

ALL Windows XP drivers can be found here and Windows7 (32bit - BIOS ONLY+ Manual) here.

Depending on your OS, please install the appropriate drivers.

Remove sound driver from divice manager
restart computer
after automatically install audio driver

then check your sound

yes its possible, younjust need win7 installer, run at winxp then chose advanced setting upgrade, thats it

Yes,of course it is good for internet but in my opinion windows7 is much better because of its new configuration by microsoft.i am also using the internet on windows7 and i have faced no problem.it is good. but as you said you are not satisfied you can use internet on the XP also but before using it please install the good antivirus and firewall software by which your p.c is secured.

This is because required sound drivers are not installed windows 7 should auto find the drivers however sometimes you may have to manually install them or change sound card if sound card isn't compatible with windows7

You simply must get a Win 7 Driver for your sound system and install it.

I know how good windows7 looks but I'm very sorry to inform you that as of this time windows 7 doesn't have all the support for some of the hardwares.. that is as of now..i suggest that you switch to windows xp with windows7 themes. that's the only solution i can give to your problem.
