My Wii console will not play any discs. I tried wii sports, wii fit, wii dance for kids. The discs on screen rotate and then states unable to read the disc.

This may be a multi issue problem. Start with changing the wii position. If ur trying to run a disk horizontal, then chamge unit position to try it verticle. If that doesnt work u may have to do some machine surgery.

My screen is side ways how do i put it back to normal

Do you have a rotating monitor? There are a few that can be rotated 90 degrees in the plane of the screen for a "portrait view" instead of the standard landscape view, and they will automatically swap horizontal and vertical signals as needed. If you have one of these, the position detector switch is stuck in the wrong position. You may be able to get it unstuck by rotating to the other position and back again.

There are some programs (e. g., Acrobat Reader) that let you rotate the view of the file you have open, but that only affects the contents of the window, not everything on the screen. I'm not aware of a program that rotates the full screen view for the entire system.

Display switched from horizontal to vertical while monitor is in the horizontal position. What keystrokes are necessary to return the display to horizontal?

Try pressing these key combination:

1. CTRL + Arrow Keys
2. ALT + Arrow Keys
3. CTRL + ALT + Arrows keys

These are shortcuts defined by your Video Card's support programs like NVidia or something alike.

The arrows key directions determine the direction to which the screen will rotate.

Pictures and type appear elongated and not in proportion. appear to be squeezed together. how do i make adjustment ?

There should be buttons on the front of the monitor which will open up a menu so you can change the horizontal and verticle adjustments. You will first get a menu, figure out how to move within the menu selections, select the horizontal setting and move it move the image more out to the sides, generally done by increasing the number shown for the current adjustment. The move out of horizontal and go to the verticle adjustment to make sure that is correct..

I hope that this information is helpful and helps you go in the right direction to solving your problem.
If this does help, please leave some good feedback for me.
Thanks,

Brian

Acer 2223W monitor stand

There are indeed generic stands which rotate between portrait and landscape orientation. This monitor, like most monitors sold today, has generic "VESA" mounting holes, in the 100mm x 100mm (MIS-D, 100, C) configuration shared with most other flat screen PC monitors, so they can easily be used with a variety of stands that attach to the 4 holes in the center of the back side of the monitor.

Toshiba has a screen rotate utility. Try hitting Ctrl + Alt + Up Arrow on the keyboard.

Ctrl + Alt + Left Arrow or Right Arrow may work also.
