I have a 9630 which supposedly is unlock with sprint. i went to ecuador nd i was able to use the voice service but no data with Movistar. how can i fix this?

It could be because your phone is not completely unlocked yet. You may have to unlock it from other network by purchasing the VERIZON BLACKBERRY 9630 unlock code from a BLACKBERRY UNLOCK CODE provider. Once your phone is unlocked, you now will be able to use any network worldwide.

##000000 should work to reprogram the phone, if it doesn't you will need to take it to your local sprint store for servicing.
when it does work it will bring you to a CDMA service screen, you enter your number (including country code) and then hit menu and save.

Have Blackberry tour 9630 which was brought from sprint so we could used it overseas in Germany where we now live and since we no longer have sprint they refuse to give us the unlock code so that we may...

I have a Blackberry 9630 Sprint bought in America unlocked but i cannot access the browser and internet services.

I sudgest you talk to your service provider to add a data plan to your existing phone plan. If you are using the wifi function to browse, you may want to download an Opera mini browser for your specific handset. Make sure you turn on your wifi(and turn it off when you are finished using it because it's a battery hog) and go to the settings menu on the opera application and turn the wifi on there as well.
