Hi I have a Husky 350. It starts and runs until I give it gas, then it bogs down and quits. If I start it and just let it idle, it quits after 10 seconds or so. New plug, clean air filter, fresh gas. Thanks for your help, Dan

Ttr90 bogs down at high rpms

I have a ttr 90 that idles well but bogs down at full throttle. Carb is clean and has new pilot and main jets. Seems to run slightly better with intake off. Which leads me to believe the mixture is rich. No adjustment on carb. Stumped?

I purchased a Husky 350 in 2003. Other than the usual problem of the muffler falling off from time to time it's proformed well otherwise. Until a week or two ago. The saw started running faster than...

The muffler falling off was a common fault, there was a later muffler with a third fixing screw in the top, you can retro fit this if you wish, as for the running, it certainly sounds like a fuel issue, the rubber boot conection on the cylinder also incorperates the impulse tube, make sure the tube has not split and come off, it is a short curled pipe from the bottom of the rubber induction boot, this creates the pulse to the carb pump, als make sure the clip around the boot has not come undone.

I have an old stihl 020 av chainsaw, the problem I'm having is when you start it and it's running the as soon as you go to give it gas it want to bog out and die even if you just try to give it alittle gas...

Look for your choke lever and make sure that it is operating properly. When the engine is choked, the butterfly valve in the engine is across the opening, causing the engine to take less air, and more fuel. As the engine begins to warm up, there is less need for the choke to be closed. If your choke valve is remaining closed, the engine will die when you pull the trigger.

Yamaha warrior atv [yfm 350] bogging problem

Try checking the switch for your parking brake. It is the top wire in the clutch handle boot. This wire connects to your CDI box, and restricts the RPM's while the parking brake is engauged. To find out for sure, trace the wire down to the plug under the headlight assembly and disconnect it. Now try starting you machine and give it some throttle!
