Your system is infected by malware which is not detected by Norton antivirus. You can download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware software from below link:-

Install it, update it and perform a scan. Hopefully, your problem will be solved.

Which is the best Antivirus in terms of best quality in terms of brand , best price and also budget oriented ?

it depends on what you want from the antivirus program, naturally ones that you pay for do give a few more options..
if your wanting one you pay for then I suggest doing a review of each antivirus program and see what others say about them and how they worked on there pc.
I have used nortons in the past and also microsoft security essentials and they are ok, for the past few years I've used the free avg on all four of my pc's, it does a good job and along with it, I use malewarebytes also for extra protection of trojans an other unwanted pests..
I keep both avg and malewarebytes up to date and run scans on my pc's every day to make sure there are no hidden pests and there is also a place in avg to scan for website cookies, those irritating bugs or pop up the some sites have and I make sure I clean them off my pc's everyday...
good luck

Rogue Virus Alert

There is a string of "viruses" out right now that will completely take over your computer. These make it hard to even restore your computer, as they block just about everything that they can. There are ways to avoid these and most people don't know that they aren't safe which is the main reason for the wide spread rogue. They look just like a legitimate antivirus or scan tool, however they are a virus of sorts in themselves. They will pop up on your screen and tell you that your computer has viruses on it and you need to download and run their scan, and although it is not something you need to download to have your computer infected, DO NOT do this.. it will ask for your cc # and the hackers behind the rogue will now have access to your cc info. There are many different types but they are all basically the same, or similar looking. Even though you have an antivirus program already installed, such as Norton or Mcafee, this does mean that you are exempt from this hoax. Tips for keeping your computer in good health and your personal info safe... keep your antivirus definitions up to date, run a complete scan on a regular basis, do not open any suspisious emails, do not enter any financial info into any pop up window. In addition to the above, depending on what antivirus you are using, don't trust any other "removal tool" Norton and Mcafee will always have their logo on their popups and in rare instances that they do pop up, it will not be in an overwhelming manner. Go to www.download.com and search for antimalware malwarebytes. Download and install this, run the full system scan, do this on a regular basis and you should be ok. Just avoid anything that is suspicious. If by chance you run into this pop up removal tool, disconnect your internet connection leave the window up and run a system scan with both Norton and the antimalware that you downloaded. Between the 2 of these it should be caught before it is too deeply integrated into your system. Also, always make sure that you have your most important files backed up, just in case a restore is necessary. I hope this helped out and raised some awareness about these rogue viruses that are running rampant lately! Be careful!

Toshiba Equium A210 Laptop and the screen keeps on going blank

Hi...I have had the same problem with my A210 laptop as well over the last year. The problem is sporadic and it would just happen out of the blue.My daughter has the same laptop and the same problem. The screen would go blank ,but you could tell the computer was still functioning somewhat in the background. The only way to fix it was to reboot and if you were working on anything it was lost.I also recently had another similar problem.I had the laptop set to go to sleep when i shut the lid. This worked great for a year or so.When i opened the lid the screen would come back on and i could continue using the computer where i left off.But recently when i opened the lid the screen would come back on for a few seconds then go blank ,just like it did as described in the first problem above. Not sure why as i had not changed any settings on my computer. It happened every time i closed the lid then opened it.A pain as had to reboot to get it back. Here is the fix my friend discovered.Click on the ATI icon in the taskbar and open up the CATALYST CONTROL CENTER.Make sure the advanced view is selected. Now choose "display options".Put a dot in "Detect whenever catalyst control center is opened",and leave the other 2 spots unchecked.( I had a dot in these 2 places ). Now apply the changes and close it out. I have had no problems since doing this with the screen going blank. Not sure why this worked ,other then the computer was getting confused along the way and shut off the screen.Just be aware that if you hook your laptop to a TV you will have to revisit the ATI setting and change them back.....Hope this helps...Dan

Virus

Install an updated full version of antivirus. Your antivirus might-be-out of date. I recommend you to use avast or avg 8. They will remove all the viruses they detect from your system. But remember to install only one antivirus because installing more than one antivirus can clash down your computer. After installing the new antivirus, scan your computer and delete all the detected viruses. Delete also your temporary internet files, cookies, cache, etc. To do this, follow these steps:
  • Go to Start, Control Panel.
  • Network and Internet Connections
  • Internet Options
  • In the Browsing History, click Delete...
  • Delete Browsing History box appears, Click Delete All button found at the bottom.
  • Reboot your computer.

Ok then i guess you should try repairing the NORTON by running the installation again and choosing the reapir option or the next option is to use another anti virus.

you can visit www.avast.com/eng/programs.html and download avast! 4 home edition free edition.
please restart your pc before installing the avast.
after installing try updating and schedule a boot scan by
  1. cutting and pasting this "W62911071H4800A1106-PJY5XRR5" when prompted for the registration key.
  2. click on the menu icon at the top left of the avast window.
  3. click on "schedule a boot scan" and restart your pc

Good luck !!
