So the office is already installed when you buy the laptop? Well,if you can't get the CD from the seller, then you can buy a new one, there should be the serial number on it,so just uninstall your current office and buy a new MS Office 2007 CD
There are many cracked MS offices with cracked serial number on the internet, but i don't recommend you to do so,it's an illegal piracy
Did you actually purchase the software? It usually comes with a 30 or 60 day trial which also gives you a Key Code just for the trial version. You may want to look at that Product Key and make sure it's not just a trial version code.
Most of the laptops are bundled with a trial version of Microsoft Office unless you have bought it or paid extra money for Microsoft office. It will ask you for the product key during the trial period to encourage you to buy the product. It depends on you to buy it or not. There are many opensource substitute to MS office like OpenOffice etc. Most people use a pirated version of Microsoft office but this is not a good practice.
Hope this will help....cheers:)
In this case the product number you are using is the Operating System's product number ie: Windows XP/Vista/7.
Microsoft Office Products require another product key individual to Office. I would suggest you contact the seller of the lap top for the installation discs which should come with a sticker that contains the Product Key.
Most new computers come with a trial version of Office. After the trial is over, you need to purchase a license key from microsoft. If the software was a full version installed, bring the computer back to the store where you bought it and have them install the software again or give you the proper product key.
