Indesit IDL535 Dishwasher intermittent fault

This dishwasher only works once a week! I think perhaps water is getting on to the electric wires and when they dry out it works again. Is this easy to repair?
Thanks
Angela

Suggest you check the electrical lines from the panel on out. Something is wrong with connections and it could be dangerous. If you're not familiar with electricity, get someone who is.

My Indesit IDL40 dishwasher, loud bang with slight burning smell but still working?

Any burning smell is not good. Indicates that something in there is too hot and perhaps melting something. Could even catch fire......

Could very well be that whatever is responsible for the noise can be causing the problemo.

Hi,my dish washer stops 20mins into cycle,light 2and4,starts flashing! its a IDL535

Hi, according to my experience it is an issue with the pump. It could be just the capacitor, or the electric engine itself. Hope it helps.

Indesit DE43UK dishwasher. Water only gets lukewarm, intermittently gives Fault code A03 - "thermistor short circuit". Indesit says no such part as thermistor listed for this model. Indesit will...

INCREASE THE WATER TEMP AT THE HOUSE WATER HEATER SO YOU WILL HAVE 120 DEGREE WATER COMING INTO THE DISHWASHER. IF THE DISHWASHER IS NEXT TO THE SINK, PURGE THE HOT WATER LINE AT THE SINK UNTIL YOU ACTUALLY GET HOT WATER. THEN, START YOUR DISHWASHER.

DI 67 S fault

Try to tilt your dishwasher forwards. Be aware that water will leak out of the front. Once this is clear it should work. I paid an engineer to come and tell me this. If your machine is not completely level it causes it to over fill and after a time will not work. Good Luck

Indesit D41 dishwasher problem

If things trip as soon as you turn the machine on, rather than waiting until partway through the cycle, then I guess you probably don't have the usual earth fault, which is a degraded heater element. The fact that things only trip with the door shut isn't all that bizarre - there's an interlock to shut the machine off when you open the door (stops interfering toddlers getting a scalding shower) - sounds like your earth fault is downstream of this. Once you've eliminated the element, and with a history of a house move, then there's every liklihood that whatever's causing your problem is going to be visible to the naked eye. With the power and water off, have a good look around inside the back and underneath. I reckon there are three things you should be checking for: 1. Wires that have become dislodged during the move or had metalwork bent into them (concentrate on the underside of the machine, where a mover's trolley might have got in and done some harm 2. Major lumps of machinery having become dislodged by the dishwasher getting dropped. 3. Moisure (especially salt water from the ion exchange bed) which has got swilled around in places it shouldn't have by movers tipping the machine on its side. For 1 and 2, fix what you see, then see what happens. For 3, wash out any salt contamination, let all freshwater dry out thoroughly (so leave it for three times as long as you think it's going to take) then plug it in and see what happens. A.
