I cannot see vedios

I hope the issue is not related to Norton.

To confirm, please disable the Norton program on your computer and check if you are able to watch videos.
To disable the Norton program, right click on the Norton icon which is on your task bar's bottom right side.

Then, click on turn on silent mode, disable smart firewall, disable antivirus auto protect. It will disable the Norton product for a few minutes. To enable them, please open the Norton program and click on "fix now".

Cannot activate norton 360

Hi Uptonmark,

I have come across this problem on a norton 360 antivirus solution before. It would also get pretty complicated if you're using vista. However, one of the first things you should do when using any antivirus is to tell the windows OS (be it vista or XP), that your anti virus is taking over the firewall + antivirus activities of the computer. So, what you might wanna do is:

1. Launch norton 360 and check to see if your outbond traffic is being blocked. Your outbound traffic to connect to the server should NOT be blocked and sometimes in 360, it is blocked by defualt.

2. Go to the control panel. Under security, define norton 360 as your firewall and anti virus. If you can afford it, disable windows firewall (since norton 360 is taking care of that problem).

3. After these settings, restart computer (for any process changes to take effect) and try to connect and see.

Hope the above suggestions help. Also, when defining your whitelist (a list of programs that are allowed to traffic in and out through your firewall), try to allow as much as programs possible (those that you deem important enough(, to prevent such an incident like this from ever happening again. Or you could take the route that i took... get bitdefender. Less complicated and more advanced security options. Norton 360 is good too, but for my personal computer, i;d stick with bitdefender any day. Hope the above helps. Let me know if the suggestions work out, else i can instruct in more detail. Thanks.

Computer crashed.reinstall Norton

hello ,

i've made these constructions for you :

firstoff try to install any previous norton version ,after the installation go to dir C:\Program Files\Norton 360
then copy the file named CLTVault.dll and past it on your desktop (we're gonna need it later) .
after , try to download
Norton 360 v2.0 from here , then cut the net off and install the last version , the old version will be deleted automatically , when you see the activation part in the installation , exit the installation , and restart your computer to bootup in a safe mode , then copy the file CLTVault.dll that we have pasted on our desktop i, try to past it in C:\Program Files\Norton 360 , then agree on the replacement ,then open ur computer in normale mode and continue the activation then it will works fine .
