Apple ipod 2gb is not running

I have purchased one 2gb apple ipod from Bangalore.that one is not running,is it any software is to install for it? I simply loaded a mp3 folder and tried to run the ipod,it's not running please solve my problem

The Apple website should have the software you need. These players are a huge problem, because there is no way to see the songs that are playing - you are at the mercy of the player.

Cant get music on Ipod

Apple, the maker of the Ipod, requires you to use "iTunes" software to upload, transfer, and buy songs for your iPod mini. The software installation cd should come with your iPod, if not, you can download it at www.apple.com then going to downloads.

Ipod 2gb is on but completely frozen!

you can try to toggle the hold switch to on (red) then off then press and hold the middle button and the manuel button at the same time untill the apple logo reappears

Reset, Retry, Restart, Reinstall, Restore
