Get error message on my baby lock ELS. Cannot read card

What does the error message say? Also, what foot are you trying to use?

Make Model error code F04
or
check the troubleshooting section of your owner's manual

I agree that the sewing machine needs to be checked, it's very
possible that the computer mother board has a problem.

I had the same problem and after buying a new card, found out that you get that message if the pattern you are trying to transfer is too big. reduce the size of the pattern and see if that works

I have a Bablock EMP 6 embroidery machine. It worked great yesterday, when I turned it on this morning it read an error of X-asis home position error. The carriage moves all the way to the right and clicks a few times. It will not center right. I have never had any problems with it. When it make the clicking noise I turned the machine off. I have tried it a few times.

Babylock only reads PES.
