Repair the Network

Short answer: Yes it is.

Longer answer: It doesn't really matter which card you use to connect to your router. The problem often lies in the compatibility of your wireless network card and your computer. It depends on the make (is the hardware compatible?) and the Operating System (is the software compatible?)

The Zyxel card is an older model (802.11b - 11Mbps) and therefore lacking the speed newer cards provide (802.11g/n - 54-108 Mbps), but it should at least work.

A wireless what? A wireless network card? Get any USB wireless dongle or PCMCIA card. (providing you have a free slot) They're all made to work on just about every computer and laptop ever made, so I don't think you'll have any compatibility issues.

Depends on if you are trying to use a wired or wireless connection. Make sure if you have a wireless card that it is a compatible one. There are only a select few that will function properly on the icebox. If you are using a hard wired connection then make sure you have gone into the connection settings on the icebox to configure the internet and what network to use. When you do this you will be able to connect to your network and surf the web.

I do not fully understand your problem I think you are trying to connect a wireless connection from a router to computer if that is the case you need to do this with a USB lead to establish your settings and once the connection is established then you can shift the computer

You need the cisco aironet 350. Can get them on ebay for about 10 dollars.
