Hi, I got my HTC smart phone two weeks back. I got anew 4 G.B . micro sd card and inserted it in phone. But sincethen the phone behaves crazy. At times i see the contents of sd card , but mostly is ee "No files present: in sd card where in reality, i placed lot of file. Thomas, Look for option to transfer data to SD card.

I had the same problem with an HTC Aspire ( I think that's what it was called :} Anyway I formatted the micro SD card in fat 32 through my laptop using a micro sd to sd adapter and the sd card slot on my laptop. I then stuck the micro sd card back into the HTC and it worked. I heard formatting through another phone works too. Try it and let me know.

You don't need the SD adapter in your mobile phone. You may use it by inserting the micro SD card into the SD adapter, then insert the SD card adapter in a "SD card reader" and use it in a USB slot in your computer to access files from your "micro SD card".

you need to purchase a micro-sd card to expand the memory.

Check if your micro sd card is properly inserted in your htc phone.Go to the pc connections in your phone and set them to mass storage mode to access your sd card.

try to look for the SD "Storage Card" under "My Device"

If you entered to the File Explorer, go "up" from the "My Documents" folder.

hey you cannot transfer contact in sd card, unlike the picture images etc. but phone contacts you cannot,

Take out the SD card.Turn off the phone and take out the battery. Now insert the new SD card and then insert the battery. Turn it on and then new card should get detected.

did you confirm the SD card by putting to another phone or card reader, if not yet then try to confirm it..
