I didnt upgrade my wii and now some games dont work how do i fix this

This is a technical problem than only Nintendo could fix. Call them and they will either tell you how to fix it or they will ask you to send it in and they will fix it themselves.Also, you cannot upgrade the disk channel. It is hardly even considered a channel because all it does is start your game.

If you didnt hold the power button at least 10 seconds then thats probably why it didnt turn off. Usually people say that you can fix it by bringing it to a store or replacing it, but what I think is try cleaning the console and see what happens. Hope that helps.

i have the same problem, i dont knwo how to fix it, and my other games work fine... but i think the disc dosent spin for brawl on my wii because i dont hear it sipnning.
i dont know how to fix it either

Usually the upgrades are a good thing as they may contain new features or bug fixes, To accept the upgrade you MUST have a connection to the internet, All its saying is the upgrade is optional, you dont have to install it but they recommend it, and unless you have altered things with the hardware you should be fine :)

I have had the same problem. The game worked fine, and then after awhile some of the games didnt recognize the remote movements. I contacted the developers of the game and didnt get much from them. From further online research I found that this is a faulty game. Needless to say I traded the game in...

easy fix
call nintendo. If its only one particular disc thats having the error, its the game. If it is more than one game, its the system. Call them and talk about troubleshooting and see if there is anything you have not tried.

Hmm..I dont think you can save the game after defeating ivlet :(

I tried but try to save the game while you are defeating him if there is a save game in menu XD Well iam doing second game and i try it out

Press the red button near the SD card slot then press the red button undre the Wii remote's battery cover to synchronize again.

Do you still get a wii menu? The games you borrowed, what were they? Are you connected to the internet? All these questions may sound strange but its a process of elimination.

Wii wants you to upgarde since last ver. can not be hacked. So Wii makes people to upgarde by using the games, so that the more you upgarde the harder it is to hack the Wii. If Wii can be hacked, you can play copied games, you can go to blockbuter get a game, copy the game in computer and make copies at of it, so that you dont have to buy the game. And your wii is able to read the copied games

Now lets start with your problem,

Well now it will be even harder to downgrade the frimware of you Wii. (Wii doesnt want you to downgarde). Try to upragde it again if that doent work then upgarde it from the Wii's web page at Wii.com

There can be a problem in you Wii's upgardeded frimware.
