Ok. I was able to find a webcam by Creative Labs but the model is VF0400. Is yours actually a 0040? I believe that you actually have the Live! Cam Notebook Pro(VF0400).

If you check the model number again and see that you do have the VF0400 (instead of VF0040) then you can download the drivers here:

driver for webcam vf0260 for windows 7

I have only the VF 0090 cd installer, i don't know if they are compatible.

Here is a link where you can find the driver, firmware, and application for your camera. Just select your operating system, make sure in the next box that the word 'All' is showing then click next.

Have you been to the creative labs website to see whether they have the particular driver. ?

I assume "innstall" means "install" and not "uninstall," right?

Go to Creative Labs's website and look for either downloadable software for the VF0040 (probably free) or a replacement CD you can order.
