My HP PSC 1510 will not take refill cartridges, - B/w and Color lights flashing

the cartridges are damage or not the right ones for your printer. first make sure you clean the cartridges before installing cos ink on the cartridge (panel) can stop the printer from detecting it.

Ink cartridge

the lid has an ejection arm on it. Try working the lid up and down to dislodge the cartridge. If this doesn't work try rocking the cartridge left and right and walking it out the the slot.

Hp psc 1510 - only want black ink

Hi Manavoc,

I will explain you the cause for it.

It prints in yellow first and then override with black for better quality. This is the reason your color ink gets empty.
