IF you need a radio reset code you can get it from your local gm dealership or you can find the code on your car's owner's manual

These are the radio wiring colors on the 2003 GMC Sierra:
• Car Radio illumination wire: Brown
• Radio ground wire: White/Black
• Stereo Amp trigger wire: Pink
• Stereo dimmer wire: Gray
• Left front speaker + wire: Tan
• Left front speaer - wire: Gray
• Right front speaker - wire: Dark green
• Right front speaker + wire: Light green
• Left rear speaker - wire: Yellow
• Left rear speaker + wire: Brown
• Right rear speaker - wire: Light blue
• Right rear speaker + wire: Dark blue
you might have to take it to the dealership to have the radio reprogramed. it should only cost 40 bucks. these radios are very tempermental and have a mind of their own sometimes. My profesional recomendation would be to have an aftermarket cd player in. they are much nicer and have way better quality than the factory radio's
In your manuel there is instruction to unlocking the radio and you may have the code's written in the back. If it does ask for a code try 0000 and if that does not work try logging on to www.radio-code.com.
They can give you the instruction and codes you need to reset your radio. If you have a good relationship with the dealer they may be able to help you out too since they are always disconnecting and changing batteries.

try autozone.com to see if they have your car listed for diagrams pictures and step by step instructions if your car is not listed then try your local library they have all the car manuals and even copy them for you andhere is a place that sells only GM parts Schram auto and truck parts 1-800-292-1032 if you need it
I have a 2008 GMC Sierra 2500HD Duramax and use the HyperTech software also. I assume you are talking about the installation instructions for HyperTech where it tells you to remove the ONStar and Radio fuse. Look in the owners manual for the fuse box layout under the hood. On mine, it's in the Duramax book and the only fuse that applies is the one listed for the Audio System. You will need to reset your clock when finished.
