Did you disconnect the battery when you did that work. That would mean the security needs to be reset. They seem to have a history of not starting though!!
Go over it, check the air filter, fuel filter, make sure your key isn`t bent. bent keys off set the chip and the car cant read it. next time take out the key and turn it around and try it again. let me know.
If the ASD blows the fuel pump fuse the fix is easy disconnect the battery go the the 02 sensor the one near the power steering pump here is the scenerio your 02 heater circuit has shorted to ground you will have to unravel the o2 harness you did add a year so i will assume its a 95 use this as a guide do you see the 02 heater and the nearest ground is the 02 sensor which can cause FP to blow open
By running the car out of fuel you may have damaged the fuel pump. You need to perform a fuel pressure test with a pressure gauge to see if the fuel pump is working and is working at the proper pressure. You might check your fuel filter as well. I suspect a bad fuel pump.
depending on mileage, but possible tune-up could fix it. if already done then check ignition coil pack and ignition wires also spark plugs, check vacuum hoses for leaks or porous, last injectors clogged - use some techron fuel injector cleaner (wal-mart has them). Also get the throttle body and iac valve cleaned by throttle cleaner .Also this other possibilities are to be checked and confirmed.:----Enginerunning rough or misfiring can be cause by the following: 1.Defectivespark
plugs 2.Inadequate spark/coil, defective spark plug
wire. 3. Lack ofcompression 4.False air leakage. 5. Faultyfuel injectors. 6. Insufficient fuel pressure. 7. Contaminated fuel. 8.EGR valvethat is leaking. 9. Oxygensensors. 10. Throttle position sensor. 11. Manifold absolutepressure
sensor 12.Mass Airflow Sensor 13.Idle air control valve ---------This should help.Keep updated.Thanks.Helpmech.
Sounds like either your thermostat, which is the least expensive and easiest thing to change, or your water pump, or clogged radiator, which is a whole new world! The reason it wont blow hot, is because you are not getting any water to the heater core. Hope this helps.
water pumps are famous at around 80 thousand km I see these give up and quit pumping internally!also the thermostat you changed is it a MOPAR from dealer with a seal with a locking tab and ball bearing on top center these after market ones are just not the way to go! 22 years exp!! with mopar these after market ones just don't seem to bleed air out efficiently enough! you should see your coolant moving around if your pump is working and if you have a air lock due to a replica thermostat good luck bleeding the air out of your cooling system,.QUESTION to you have you any automotive experience as this???[problem you have.
