This generally indicates a bad HDD...but enter the bios and make sure first boot device is NOT set to Network in the bios or maybe the hdd has gone and its looking for a operating system to load.... Check cable connections (reseat), Check jumpers on hard drive for Master/Slave or CS settings, Check BIOS settings for boot order, And lastly have your BIOS rescan your HD or Reset your BIOS to defaults.....
To enter the Bios (see your computer screen at power on, your manual, or manufacturer's web site) you probably have to press something like the DEL Key, or one of the F Keys at boot up time, but the actual Key varies from model to model. Many computers refer to this as "Entering Setup", Setup is just another term for the Bios.
Setting your Bios to any safe default settings may also fix this for you.
Computer does not boot upThe problem maybe the RAM, it is faulty or just needsreseating to make proper electrical contact. Reseat the RAM and then boot up your laptop. If it still does not boot up thenremove the RAM module/s and take them to your friendly computer repair shop andget them to test the RAM for you.
Check the RAM module/s, try reseating them first, if it still does not boot up the remove the RAM module/s and take them to your friendlt computer repair shop and get them to test the RAM for you.
You may have to remove and reset the HDD and Memory on the unit. Next, you will recv. the F-2 to continue or F-12 to enter setup. Enter setup and change date and time. Save and try. You may have a damaged HD or boot partition and reloading the operating system will be necessary. Reseating the HD will assure that you have a good connection and the same with the memory. Also, if the unit has been dropped, you may have a damaged HD and may need to change it.
The Video Chip or VIdeo board was faulty, you need replaced motherboard or video board 9if it has), unless you can find components level repair tech near you.
it could be bad motherboard.
but try to reseat memory or move memory to another slot, it could be bad ram slot.
if this don't work, it motherboard/cpu problem. most of the time it's motherboard.
