What Tasco do you own is it a refractor or reflector? Does it have a lens in front -- then it's a refractor; or mirrors, then it's a reflector.

On a refractor the eyepieces go in the back of the tube, sometimes you also have a diagonal which goes into the scope first and then the eyepiece goes into the diagonal. The diagonal is simply an L shaped device with a mirror inside that makes it easier to look through the scope when it is pointed UP at an angle.

On a reflector the focuser is on the FRONT side of the tube, and the eyepiece goes into the focuser.

Take the scope outside during the day time and practice focusing on a distant object. Put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the focuser or into the diagonal. This is your LOWEST magnification.

Practice focusing --- until you get used to how it is done. Turn the focuser knob to the left slowly-- if nothing comes to focus then try turning it to the right. It may take several full turns to come to focus.

At night the moon should be your first target.

Read my TIPS on my profile page.

ABOUT NOT FITTING: eyepieces come in 3 sizes, .975, 1.25, and 2 inch sizes. Measure the hole and then measure the eyepiece-- it may be that you have the wrong size eyepieces for that scope. The correct size can be purchased on line from many retailers. Here is one telescope retailer that sells eyepieces and other accessories:

Assembly - lens in

I don't fully understand your question- however the eye piece goes into the focuser. Try to use the eyepiece with the largest number written on it and do not use a barlow multiplier lens until you learn how you focus the telescope at lower magnifications.

Which end piece do I remove, the one closest to the view finder ?

The end with the focuser is the UP end of the telescope. This is a reflector style telescope with a mirror in the BOTTOM. Take off the lens cap on the UP end near the focuser.

Can't figure out how to put the eye-pieces (3) on our Selsi Telescope 335x.

All eyepieces go into the FOCUSER end of the telescope. You never said if this is a REFRACTOR or a REFLECTOR style telescope.

On a refractor you have a lens in the front and the focuser in the back.

On a reflector the focuser is on the SIDE of the telescope near the front end.

The diagonal goes in first --- and the eyepiece goes into the diagonal -- if this is a refractor style telescope. Here is a picture of the DIAGONAL.

Missing a piece of my RX-9 +venture

You are missing the 2 inch to 1.25 inch adapter, that fits into the focuser so you can use 1.25 inch eyepieces.

Black dot.

Ensure focusing is spot on. if your image is a black dot surrounded by white light (like a doughnut) then your not in focus. Look at making a Hartmann Mask (really easy, just google for it), which fits over the front lens. It has 2 or more holes in it,this means when you look through the eye piece you will see double images, adjust focus until the images merge into one (if the images go further apart turn the focuser the other way), when they are merged remove the mask and presto you should be in optimum focus. Always remember telescopes are very sensitive and focussing requires delicate adjustments.

Bushnell 18-1560 Telescope

Hello,
What you have is called a refractor-type telescope with the primary lenses (the Objective) at the top of the tube and the only other lenses in the system are your selection of eyepieces, probably a barlow lens (2X magnification of any eyepiece used), and a diagonal (in line mirror so that you cand see into the telescope from the side.). As the focal lenth of the eyepiece decreases, so does the distance away from the Objective Lens. I believe that you are using the telescope with a diagonal mirror which makes the optical path longer. The fact that your longer focal lenght eyepiece can focus and not your short one would be only if you didn't have the diagonal or the eyepiece all the way in tight to allow the focus mechanism (rack and pinioin) to get compressed enough to focus. Look at the Moon, if the image gets smaller then bigger as you focus, but not sharp, then I would have to tell you that your eyepeice lenses are not in the right order. Someoner may have taken it apart and didn.t put them back in the correct order. The lenese could just be very dirty also. Barrow a short focal lenght eyepice from a friend and see if it works in your system. Then you will know for sure.
