Nero 7 Hello, How do I transfer letters etc that I have written using Windows XP to DVD using Nero, and how do I copy photos from the digital camera to DVD using Nero? I used to do both to CD easily, not using Nero, but I've had a new burner and seperate reader for burning these to DVD rather than CD, and mywhiz-kid computer friend told me I'd now need to use Nero (which I have) instead of Windows - but what do I do, please?

My kodak easyshare c813 camera wont transfer pictures to my windows 7 computer. it always worked fine on xp.

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Windows Photo Gallery or Picasa.

I have a nickon s230 camera and it want transferring photos to my computer it use to but now it wont do i need a up grade i run windows 7 home premium 32 bit

Try to see if you can transfer the pics manually as follows: I never use any program or let the computer save my photos when I connect my camera. I save my Photos manually. Connect Camera to Computer via USB. Then use Windows Explorer and go to the My Computer. Then on C:\Hard Drive right click and select new folder, name it Your Name Photos. You should now see your camera listed as E:\Camera Name or if you have 2 CD / DVD drives it will be E:\Camera Name. Hight light on the *.jpg files and copy to your Saved Folder in my case C:\Dan\Photos

I can't transfer video to my pc from a panasonic SDR-H40

Same problem as everyone that probably has one of these cameras and not the exact computer the software was designed to run on. I got NERO DVD burn software and am now able to see the camera hard drive and recognize my videos. I have Windows XP but as long as you get the right NERO software your troubles will probably be forgotten. After learning of doing it like this I'm really glad the Panasonic software didn't work because I'm sure I have a much better handle on how I want my videos burned to DVD.
