Thanks for the answer. Is a broken belt easy to repair? Bosch wants to charge me $99 for the service call which includes the first 18 minutes. They it is $120/hour after that broken down in 6 minute billing increments. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the answer. Is a broken belt easy to repair? The Belt you need for this machine, is the same one needed for a Danby DCD5505W Dryer. You can find a replacement belt at Repair Clinic, belt #669956, and you can also look-up a supplier using the mfg belt number (8PH 1930). The belt, with shipping is about $20.00
drum baring or rollers if you can get belt off try to turn drum if it still hard to turn you will know its not the motor may be something in blower give it a try
there is a switch next to the belt tension arm behind the motor that needs to be reset push the switch needs to be pushed to the right andthis should get your unit running as long as you have power
If you arer going to replace the washer with a Bosch Axxis model, it will simply plug into the back of the dryer (if it is electric) because normally the dryers are 220 VAC. Works A-OK.
Check the fuse. This is a German unit, so every part including the light bulb is 208/240 volts. If the fuse for the dryer on the back is open the unit will not start.
