Check for a wire that has a bare spot on it rubbing the body of this mower. The vibration the engine makes shakes the wiring so it must have a bare spot somewhere under the seat or towards the engine

I am having the same problem with my riding lawn mower.
I suspect a wire must be faulty and when the lawn mower heats up the wire has more resistance?
at which point there must be more amp pumped through the wire, enough to blow the fuse?

I do not really know how to inspect the wires very well....they look OK
    I suspect the red wire?

Even with the mower not running when i pull the switch to engage deck it blows 20 amp fuse

Kelly, ray g. nailed it, First be sure it is only to be a 20 amp fuse, The wires to the clutch that drive the deck will be broke or bare shorting out on each other or on metal, wire are quite commonly broke by the clutch plug or close by. what you can do is carefully follow the wire from switch through the system and look for damage or bare spots, pay special attention when wire runs through frame/body holes and any where it could rub on metal or moving parts. Check the attached links, instruction and guides,4th link see Randy T. reply in forum, has good test method for your problem. Good Luck.

Why do I keep blowing the 20 amp blade fuse on my G110 25hp jd. mower when everything else works fine until i turn PTO clutch on. I can't find any bare wires. Can the clutch have a short inside it?

Yes theclutch is an electromagnet and basicaly a big bundle of wires. If you have a multi-meter or just an ohm meter you can check the resistance of of the coil by simply touching the 2 prongs coming from the coil with the meter. The resistance should be something low like 1000 ohms or 1k or less. Some common sence should be used if you dont have the specs. If it shows less than 1 ohm than you most likely have a short. If it shows alot more like 1M or more there is an open and either way the clutch will need to be replaced.

The fuse (lighter/accessory plug) keeps burning out in my 2000 cavalier. What else could be the problem?

That won't help, and is never recommended-will only cause further problems down the road. It sounds like the plug is bad and needs replaced, if you can use it and it blows the fuse. They do go bad occasionally.

I have a Fimco 2100 model sprayer that keeps blowing the fuse. Wiring is all ok. Pump doesn't even attempt to turn on. Fuse blows almost 1 second after pump switch is turned on. Pressure gauge never...

The breaker is too small, the cord is too small, the starter motor on that thing draws 18 amps. It will trip any 15 amp breaker and any 20 amp breaker with something else running, any cord will drop the amp below the starter winding min. make sure nothing is running, separate circuit if you can find one, no extension cord, and a 20 amp breaker in the fuse box. if that is not the problem , then something is shorting out when you hit the switch. Check the wiring on the pump and make sure all is secure, no loose wires, no sparks. My compressor won't run on any old plug, has to be 20 amp, has to be without a cord or with a heavy cord, and has to be hot out, if it is cold, forget it!. We have to keep the compressors in a heated room so they will run in the winter. Hope this helps.

1992 gmc pickup keeps blowing heater fuses I replaced the blow motor and it keeps blowing

Have you replaced the blower resistor . some times they can cause the fuse to blow . You may need a muiltmeter to test the current draw on the blower motor circuit. the draw should be less then half of the rated fuse .( 20 amp fues draw is less then 10 amps) You did not say but does the blower work on high only or the lower speeds with out blowing the fuse ? if it does work on low or high with out blowing the fuse i would replace the blower resistor
