whats the fuel pressure, has the fuel filter ever been changed, good that its getting fire but now it needs something to burn, also check your air filter, make sure its not plugged.
check for vacuum leaks at your throttle body, intake manifold gaskets and vacuum line, or you could possibly have a sticking valve. if I am understanding you rite the truck sat for 2 years. also check the wiring to your sensors as for a rodent may have chewed some insulation off, this happened to my sons car.
