The pull cord to the light feature for the ceiling fan snapped off with no hint of where it originated. I still have the cord, but have no idea where to reconnect it. I now have no means to use the light portion of the fan, just the blades/fan portion works now with its own individual cord which is still intact.
Any help or pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Whether there is a reset switch on this unit or not would depend on the model. If you no longer have the owners manual you should be able to get it from the hampton web site. Many fans have a thermal fuse inline that probably was blown when the bulb broke. The cheaper models do not and then I would guess you burned out the switch.

Do the blades spin freely? If not, something may have fallen into the motor, jamming the blades. That would cause this. Also, make sure there is a good connection at the wire that feeds power to the fan motor (usually black, blue is the light) Good luck.

Hi ,,, replacement switches for ceiling fan lights can be found at most appliance or building supply stores. Try Home Depot, Ace, Lowes. Make sure that you get the correct switch. With a single lamp you only need an on/off switch.

Note the wire position and replace the switch with 1 from a hardware store. Are you sure that toggle switch is for the lights, as you should have another for the fan. Usually the wakk switch is used to turn the lights on and a toggle switch used to start the fan.

Unfortunately you can't buy one blade. Blades are made in sets and have to be balanced within a few grams of each other. If you can find the supplier for this brand there is a small chance you may be able to buy a new set of blades but you will need to know the model as well. Blades aren't interchangeable between brands or models.
Most likely you will need to buy a whole new fan.
