I am also experiencing this problem for my Panasonic CW-C102VPH. looks like no problem with the freon charge because air is very cool if compressor is ON.. but room temperature is only 30 degC because of the constant turning OFF every 5 minutes. Is there a solution for this?

I have the same problem w/my CW-XC122VU. Other symptom is that the thermostat setting does not work in this "poltergeist" mode. After the problem went away by itself, then re-occurred, I notice it tracks the level of the water in the pan. A full pan of water will trigger poltergeist-mode, so I suspect some control or sensor is being shorted. The posted solutions ("transformer hum" or "broken on/off switch" are off the mark and generally unhelpful). We are not alone, though...the problem is observed in many Panasonic and Quasar window A/C units.

Called Flash Codes. First try turning off everything at the breaker for at least 2 hours and preferably overnight. Turn back on and wait 15 minutes for self test to complete.

When aircon is on, about 5 min, fr is appears and stop the aircon

Do the indoor and the outdoor fans run when the cooling or heating is on? The compressor? Is there free airflow thru the radiator coils. Indoor and outdoor? Can only guess "fan relay", a fan's work not being sensed. Or a faulty frost/defrost circuit.

Panasonic a c automatically stops cooling after every 10 min but indoor fan not stops and it will start again after 2 min . What is the problem?

the indoor thermostat setting is set to close to atmospheric temperature resulting in a cycle of the machine
for example if the room temperature is at 26 degrees c and you run the machine at 25 degrees c it will cycle
if altering the setting will not make a difference then have a technician check it out as it may be a faulty thermostat on the inside unit or an overload of the compressor

Too hot little cold

Very possible your condenser is extreemly dirty and is turning off on a high pressure cutout. suggest you clean out condenser with compressed air. Brushing is not enough. also, check if condenser fan(at the compressor) is working.

Fridge not cooling

If the refrigerator isn't cool, you need to answer some questions, then see if the compressor is running. First, answer these questions: Is the refrigerator completely dead? If so, see “It's stopped completely.” Is the thermostat knob turned to the proper setting? If not, reset it. Next, see if the compressor motor is running The compressor is a football-sized case with no apparent moving parts. It's on the outside of the refrigerator at the back near the bottom. If it is humming or making a continuous noise and your refrigerator is still not cooling, there may be a more serious problem with one or more of several different components, we recommend contacting a qualified appliance repair technician for further help. If the compressor is not running but you do have power to the refrigerator, there may be a problem with one or more of these: The compressor The Thermostat The overload, relay, or capacitor The defrost timer The condenser fan motor

My motor compressor thrifts every 5 mins.

If you have a low pressure switch on your air conditioner it's opening and closing, because you don't have enough refrigerant in the system or it's cycling on the thermal overload in the compressor because it's getting hot.
You need to charge your system to approximately 12° to 15° superheat not by pressure.

Not heating. The fan blows, but no warm air. RHEEM RCGA-60A1AS24

Please check if the compressor is running, if not, then
there is no warm air generated. Please contact the RHEEM dealer about it. Aircon compressors are run
with a thermostat. So, you may try setting the aircon
thermostat to maximum, so that the compressor run,
and you can have your warm air. May this info help you.

When it works on hi cool after sometime the blower stop but compressor still working .my aircon is window type.

Replace the thermostat. The thermostat is shutting down the blower and not shutting down the compressor. Also replace the relay on the compressor as this should be replace when the thermostat is replaced to make sure both are in working order

Compressor starts and doesn't stop

Relay for the compressor may be stuck ( Contacts welded) both the fan and the compressor should operate at the same time. Have the relay(s) checked and possibly replaced.
