Metrologic MS9520 USB repeats beep-blink-sequence

My Metrologic Voyager MS9520-Scanner with MX009-USB-Power-Link-Cable (changed with Keyoard-Wedge) permanently repeats an beep-green-led-red-led.sequenz if you power on - USB or Powerlink or both makes no different. I have also scanned all Barcodes of the handbook to stop this problem - without an result.
Can you help me? Is there a way to reset the scanner?

You programmed it for usb interface, but the scanner is keyboard wedge. Try pointing the scanner at the "recall defaults" barcode in the manual as you plug the scanner back in.

SOURCE: Microsoft Metrologic MS9520 Voyager Barcode Scanner problem

If it is using the MX009 USB Cable it wont scan with the standard configuration. You will need extra configs such as enable Rs-232 Mode, Enable Xon/Xoff handshaking etc..
These can be found on the www.Metrologic.com website which will divert you to Honeywell website

SOURCE: We are using a Metrologic MS9520 (keyboard wedge)

What I would first is to bring the barcode scanner back to factory defaults. To do this you will need the manual that came with the scanner, on the first page is a bar code that say "enter/exit configuration mode" scan that first and you will hear three beeps, then scan the bar code for "recall defaults" and rescan the bar code to "enter/exit configuration mode" then retry using your scanner, if this does not work bring up "notepad" on your computer and try to scan any bar code form any retail item. This should scan, if it does net then it could be a defective scanner. See page 2 on the manual link

Hi.....im using Eclipse Metrologic Instruments, model no.is MS5145 LS USB barcode scanner. now it is not working. whenever i tried to scan a barcode, it red light goes on continously. i also initialized it...

If the kit number : MK5145-71a48 that you referenced above is correct, your scanner is single ended keyboard wedge, not usb. You would need to order the correct cable : MX009-3ma7c from Honeywell to connect via usb.

Voyager 5929 doesn't work with Vista

The problem isn't your scanner or Vista, it's your adapter. Power requirements and speed of data require special adapters. One I always recommend is Scan Technology's part # STI-PS2-USB. I've tested it with all Metrologic scanners and it hasn't failed yet.

Incorrect Reading

Try experimenting with the different inter-scan code delays. You can find the programming barcodes in your manual.
