SOURCE: put the wrong oil in my riding lawn mower. Should
It should be OK, provided no damage was done to the engine when you ran it. Hopefully, you caught it quickly. Just to be on the mechanically safer side, I'd change the oil again. If your mower is equipped with a filter and you didn't change it after the 2 cycle happening, change it, too. If you have a filter, always fill the filter with oil before you mount it if the orientation of the filter allows. Fill the engine with oil. Check and start. There may still be some smoking until you clear the residue out, and you may even have to clean your spark plug(s) a time or two. You should see a gradual improvement in your exhaust plume. If any damage had occurred to your engine, you will likely hear abnormal sounds. If this is the case, shut the mower down immediately and investigate forther, with your local professional.
