Hi monismitch,

I'm assuming that you're using Business Objects full client, in which case we can simply reset your user preferences.

Workflow on your machine

1. Start > Run > Type Regedit -- this will bring up your registry
2. Browse to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Business Objects\Suite 11.5\default\BusinessObjects\ "username" user prefs
3. Delete only the key that shows your username
4. Note - the above registry path is for BO XIR2, for version 6 the version name will be slightly different.

Log back into Business Objects and rerun the report.

I have lost my yahoo tool bar

If you're using internet explorer then look up under the area where you put address in where it says File, Edit, VIEW, Favorites etc. Click on VIEW. then touch where it says TOOLBARS. At the bottom of that list you should see Yahoo Toolbar. If it's disappeared there won't be a check in front of it. But when you click on it, it will add one ...and it will again appear where it was before.

If it doesn't show on the list you have somehow lost the yahoo toolbar (I doubt that's the case) and will need to go download it again. In case you don't know this you will get the option to get the yahoo toolbar when you download yahoo messenger too...

I don't have 2010, but I do have 2007. Now, provided that status bar is still there, right click on it and check the boxes you want to show on your status bar, such as sum, count, etc.

If you status bar is not there, make sure your are in NORMAL view and not Full Screen View. Hit the escape key a few times to get back to Normal. It would also be a good idea to click on the View ribbon menu to see what view you are in.

After that, I am at a loss to assist you.

My address bar, refresh button, back and forward arrows etc. have disappeared. Why has this happened and how do I get them back?

You are missing your navigation toolbar. Hopefully you still have the menu bar where it say's, "File Edit, View etc." Move your mouse up to the View tab and left click that tab. That menu should open. Slide down to toolbar and items like Menu Bar, Navigation Toolbar should have check marks beside them. You probably don't have a check mark next to Navigation Toolbar so, left click that location. Upon completion of last instructions the address bar, refresh and back and forward should all reappear.

How do i restore my web address box & the back button & also the 'File' 'Edit' buttons on my Mozilla Firefox??

The Firefox "menu bar" includes dropdown menus for various tasks (including "File", "Edit", etc.). If the menu bar does not display, press the "Alt" key (if you are using Windows). That will restore the menu bar temporarily. To restore it permanently, go to the menu bar and select:
View > Toolbars > Menu bar

The Firefox "navigation toolbar" includes the "back", "forward", "reload" buttons, and the address bar (where you type a web address). If the navigation bar does not display, go to the menu bar and select:
View > Toolabars > Navigation toolbar

I am running Windows 7 and some how I lost my toolbars, File, Edit etc

To add a toolbar, click Tools, then Toolbars from the Command bar or right-click on the Command bar to see a list of toolbar options. You can activate or deactivate a number of Internet Explorer toolbars from this menu option. You can even Lock the Toolbars to make Internet Explorer show the same toolbars each time you use the browser.
To add or remove Add-ons, click Tools from the Command bar and select Manage Add-ons from the drop-down menu. From this menu you can view and manage a list of different Add-on Types you've got installed in the browser. To add more, click on the Find more providers... option at the bottom of the window. To delete an Add-on, highlight the one you wish to remove and select Remove, or select Disable if you wish to leave it installed but make it inactive.

On Internet explorer on the right hand side you should see "tools" click on that button and a drop-down appears - look for toolbars click on toolbars and another menu drops out There you can see all the toolbars the PC knows about and if there's a tick against it - then it should be displayed - if not tick - then click on it and a tick should appear and the toolbar should also appear

Web pages were full page; now they're oversized

Try Going to "View" on the "Command Bar" and go to "Zoom" and check it for 100%. If you don't see "Command Bar" right click on any empty space on your toolbar and select "Command Bar". (File, Edit, View, etc.). Ian.
