How do i clean my vizio tv without damaging it?

Sounds like a mainboard/Digital board. Might be the panel too. Vizio makes substandard TVs and they tend to fail very easily. As much as I like to see devices repaired, this one may not be worth your hassle. Power problems caused by lightening can be the most damaging. You may even need both power and digital boards to repair it. I would buy boards from someone who will take them back in case the panel failed too.

It is 12 volts and also 24 volts DC, never check it without a load on it as it can damage the inverter circuit.

To clean the dust inside the screen, you will have to disassemble the LCD panel. It is a very risky job and there is every chance of damaging the LCD screen unless you have a real good experience of doing it. If you are not good at doing such jobs, please let some professional do it for you.

You can try the special cleaning napkins for laptops, you can buy them in every electronics shop. Operate very softly avoid pressing on the TV surface. If even that doesn't help, well, it will remain like this, because of phisycally damage.

All electronics devices,can't be on exposer to cold 20 degrees or hot 110 degrees very long only a couples hours.Than the componnents on the pc board will malfunsctions or dies all together.Bring it with you and store it at 45-50 degrees should be no problems.

Pretty sure you aren't supposed to use any chemical cleaner. I just use one of those pieces of fabric you are supposed to clean your glasses with and it has served me and my VIZIO XVT very nicely! But don't wipe to much because you can damage the pixels and screen. Gently. Hope that helps
