Security suggests you should get a telephone number from previously trusted Sky correspondence, ring that and ask for an e-mail.

If you do it any other way, how will you know you're not discussing your account changes with a bunch of scammers?

Unless you use a 3rd party email address like gmail or hotmail then when you stop paying the old provider any email addresses that they supplied will simply cease to exist and will not be accessible. So you need to set up a sky address (or gmail) and tell everyone what the new address is. You can still use the old address as a login id, for example with shops, utilities or ebay, but you will need to log in to each account and change the email address to the new one if you ever want to receive emails from them or to recover the account when you forget your password.

You have to configure your old email service to forward to your new address.

You must contact your server by phone.Or pay an internet cafe a few pence and email your server and tell them you need instructions sent to you on how to do it.By the way have you set up an internet connection?If yes go to your server email button see what happens here.If it says can't connect to server you've got to set up an email service on your new computer.Go to tools on the internet explorer or whoever your browser is,and first make sure your home page is in the top box.i.e.www.virginmedia.com.If youe using XP on the new computer you should have an email link on your destop or press start button and it should be at the top of that page.Click onto it and follow the instructions.But......you have to have to be connected to the internet.

That might be possible, but tesco might charge you a monthly fee for maintaining your current email address.And yes, you could autoforward emails from your old email address to the new one. My advise here would be for you to contact tesco first to know if you could keep your current email add first.
