The radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code
First remove the radio from the dashboard.
Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels, barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.
This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated
If it is the standard stereo unit fitted to the car from the factory then you need to call the car manufacturer to get the code.
If it is not then you need to call the manufacturer of the stereo to get the code.
Power On The Unit And Hold The M Button. This Will Display The Serial
Number Across The Screen. Once You Have Noted The Serial Number Call
Your Local Dealership And Ask For The Security Code. They Will Ask For
The Serial Number You Noted And Then Give You The Code For Your Exact
Unit. The Code Isn't The Same For All Of The Units As It Is For
Security Purposes.
Hope This Helps You,
Sincerely,
Michael Scott
