The Norton disk came with a product key each Cd has its on its not like windows disk which have a master backup key.you need to call norton have proof that you bought it and get a new key :)

Norton Anti-Virus 2008 was made to not be uninstalled. It had integrated itself into your system files preventing Windows Installer from removing the anti-virus machine. Symantec has made this tool available to remove the product. However believe me when I say traces of Norton will remain until the hard-drive is reformatted.
now the norton has released the norton antivirus 2009 and you have to purchase it,if you want to try with the trial version means you can download the trial version from www.norton.com/nav09
Sorry cannot provide you with a key and anyone who is smart will not do it since the software now checks the key and how many computers it is on. If it shows up on too many, the key is no longer usable even by the original owner
