That system uses a 40+5/370 capacitor. The Intertherm part # is 620888. You can also use a 40+5/440 cap. You can pick one up at a local dealer or distributor, or order online. Look at spending about $15 for the capacitor.

High head presure , not sure if condenser fan motor is correct,model number is s3qa-042ka-3.5 ton

There is a valve inside of most compressors that when it fails (sticks) it either fails high or low. If you have the wrong size of fan it may have overheated. You can try de-energizing the unit, then lightly tapping the compressor in various places with a rubber mallet. I know it sounds goofy but it might save you a repair bill.

Refusal to start

I hired someone to come out and look at it. A mouse had gotten in somehow and chewed wires. Also shorted out (sorta) the contactor. Fried mouse - no air conditioning.

basically it controls the ignition process, and monitors it, it has tob there for the furnace to work properly.

Here is the standard connection of dual capacitor. Actually you can see the diagram on the unit but Im not familiar with the Intertherm model. What can I give to you is only the standard connection of dual capacitor.
