Backlight not working

Try to re-install the screen assembly (touch 4). If that don't work the screen may have been damaged when installing it. Our shop does these all the time. See link to buy the install service.

If this is another iPod touch gen (older). Make sure the LCD connector didn't pop off.

Is there a way to fix the glass on an I-touch Ipod? The glass is cracked from being dropped but it still works, just the glass may cut a finger eventually.

It is possible, but the replacement glass is around $70. If you want to still buy it, theres a tutorial here on how to replace it.

My ipod touch is cracked

Go on e-bay and buy a screen repair kit for cheap. Then go on you tube to get easy repair instructions.  Apple won't replace cracked screens for free cause they know you broke it.

My ipod touch is craked

Hi

The only solution to this screen problem is to replace the screen.
You can purchase the screen for example from this website: http://www.powerbookmedic.com/iPod-Touch-LCD-Display-Screen-p-17191.html

You may be able to get a cheaper deal from ebay or from other websites.
