My laptop can wifi acer AOD150 - Broadcom BCM5721 NetXtreme Ethernet Controller for Servers

Have you uninstalled the driver in device manager and restart the computer. It will automatically replace the driver.

Camera is not detected, there are several possibilities:

The first possibility
There was an error installing the driver. AOD150, manufactured by three types of cameras, chicony, liteon, suyin. Example: I installed the camera driver, suyin to AOD150. At the time of installation, a message appears, hardware not found / not detected / not recognize. This means, suyin not the right driver.

Solution
1. Open link driver AOD150
2. Operating System = Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition x32
3. Download software = Hardware Vendor Detection Utility
4. Double-click = HWVendorDetection.exe. We will find the right camera hardware.
5. Download and install the Liteon driver





The second possibility
If the hardware vendor detection utility, does not detect camera

Solution 1 (assuming, normal hardware)
1. Possible corrupt operating system.
2. Reinstall the operating system, by doing format drive C.
3. Move all data from drive C to D/E/F.
4. Download drivers AOD150, and other applications, save it on drive D/E/F
5. Insert the Windows CD bootable. Perform boot from CD.
6. Press enter - F8 - New Installation - format the C drive, etc.
7. After the OS install is complete, install all drivers (chipset, LAN, VGA, sound, camera, etc)

Solution 2 (assuming, damage hardware)

2. Select a product family = Netbook
3. Product Lines for Netbook = Aspire One
4. Product Models for Netbooks = AOD150
5. Select a Operating System = Example; Windows 7 Home Basic x32
6. Aspire One D150, produced by three types of cameras (LiteOn, Suyin, Chicony). How to install the camera driver, download LiteOn driver, then install. If the install process run smoothly, and the camera can function, mean AOD150 you have to use LiteOn camera type. If the install fails, you can download Suyin camera types, and then install. If the install fails, you download and install Chicony.
7. To install other drivers, for example Wireless LAN (Atheros, Broadcom), TouchPad (ALPS, Synaptics), 3G (Qualcomm, Option), use the same method as the above.
8. Do not forget, install Application LaunchManager. This application is useful to activate the quick key (Fn) on your Netbook.

Remove all the pictures out of your Pictures folder. Either delete them or move them to your desktop.

thats the freeze up that they call, i suggest lower the contrast so the battery will have smooth capacity then disable screensaver, all update make it manual, http://www.buzzillions.com/reviews/acer-aspire-one-aod150-1920-10-1-netbook-reviews <--this is the review of that however if you will lessen the auto sched of this netbook the freeze up will disappear.

Most Acers use an IPN2220 Wireless card. If yours does and your router is using WPA or WPA2 (TKIP or AES) security then you'll need to update the driver by searching for it manually using the Custom button (Hardware) in Windows update (instead of Express). This driver is not part of XP service pack 2 or 3. In my experience if you don't update to the newest common form of home wireless security (WPA2 AES) then the older formats seem to become unreliable
