What website to look for drivers for this motherboard p23g

mybe the motherboard is not supported with the processor that you install or maybe the processor is inserted properly... because the processor is a pen less
make sure the it's in the proper position...

Usually Ubuntu doesnt require any additional motherboard drivers if it has an open source version.

In Ubuntu 9.04, System> HARDWARE DRIVERS will show you all proprietary drivers in the system. You can ACTIVATE them there. Some files may be required to be downloaded from internet.

The PC Chips P23G versions 1.0A & 3.0 will not support any current generation Core2Duo, Core2Quad or Pentium Dual-Core processors. Only some of the first generation (Conroe Core) Core2Duo processors which run @ 1066mhz bus and some Pentium D (presler core) processors which run @ 800mhz bus.are supported. Not even most current BIOS will add support for any current processors. Check the pcchips website for CPU compatibility for the P23G..

probably your motherboard does not recognise the faster ram go to BIOS setup and check ram is set for auto

The p23g V1.0 motherboard doesn't support the core duo processor. Do not try to install it or you may damage either the board or the processor.

 

The p23g V3.0 support also the core duo processor
