Hello,

Two possible ways to get software for your MP3 player could be:
1. Having internet connection: downloading from the internet on the laptop.
Getting support on the internet for Sony MP3 player is here:
http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/index.pl
Next enter your model number and follow the links to software and drivers.
Unfortunately there's no support for the NWZ-B135 on the web.

2. Having another computer with a disk drive + a USB memory stick: puttting the disk content on a USB memory stick on that computer, after that using the USB stick with your laptop.

Connect the mp3 player to a computer, go to start > computer > either double click the 'Removable Disk' drive and then you can erase, or you can right click the removable disk drive and select [format], which will erase everything.

Just bought an Ematic 1.5%22 Color 4GB MP3/4 Video Player and the driver disk it came with about 3'' wide much smaller than a std cd so i cant use it. where can i get the driver and anything else to make...

You should be able to use the small diameter disk. The disk can be inserted in the CD/DVD drive just like a normal size CD/DVD disk, it locks onto the spindle on the laptop's CD/DVD drive. The laser reads from the center of the disk.

Girlfreinds old MP3 player. We have no disk and I cant get it to upload new music. Computer gives the message: 'please insert a disk in drive F:'

The driver you would need would be the one that has the same model number as yours, the mp3 player may say what model it is on the case

I don't know how to download songs onto my MP3 Player. :(

The majority of mp3 players should come with a cable which connects it to your computer/laptop.

1.Once the MP3 player is plugged into you laptop, you can either use a application like Realplayer, or you can go to My Computer/Removable Disk (depends where you plug it into(Note: The name of the removable disk drive may be called something like the brand or model name of your MP3 player). Once you have opened up the Removable Disk drive, there should be a file for Audio. copy the Music file into that file.

2.With Realplayer go to http://www.realplayer.com.au/ to download it, and then install it and all of that stuff. Once installed, open it up and connect your MP3 player to your computer. Once connected, Realplayer should register that it is there and open it up. If not use step 1.

If you want to use music off of your CDs Download an CD audio to MP3 converter (search for one on google). Then convert your Cds and copy onto your MP3 player.

Hope it help

There are no instructions in the instruction manual as to how I transfer songs to the MP3 player. Sorry, but I need MP3's' for Dummies. It's the JX-MP102. PLEASE HELP!

Just bought the JX-MP102 find it difficult to use but was able to download songs from a windows xp laptop - plug the mp3 player into the usb port and turn on just as you would for playing music its screen should light up and the computer will pop up a screen with several options click to start windows explorer and from there you can got to place holding music files and copy them the disk letter which represents  the MP3 player. On my machine my main files are on the C disk and a new D disk pops up for MP3 player. I also have a windows vista machine and it also recognizes the player as a new disk drive just like a flash drive.  Unfortunately I can the player to work for a few minutes at best right now even with the music files successfully loaded and playing so I may return it tomorrow. Hope you have better luck.

Uknown format

When using your MP3 player for the first time you should format it. Formatting prepares the disk (storage medium) for any reading or writing. It erases all information on the disk, and tests for any bad sectors or errors. Below are the steps for formatting your player: -Connect the disk storage (MP3 player) to your computers USB port. If the computer pops up a window asking what do you want windows to do? Click cancel. -Right click on My Computer and click on Explore. Look for the drive Removable Disk (E:) [The letter drive may vary depending on your computer] This is your MP3 player. -Right click on the drive Removable Disk (E:) and click Format… A small window will pop up displaying Format Removable Disk (E:) Click Start. Read the warning and click OK. Format is complete. This procedure can be done occasionally to erase all data on the disk storage.

Lexar LDP-400 MP3 player (128MB capacity

Formatting the Disk maybe solve it. But if the disk itself is working. Go to Start-> Run -> type "cmd" -> format F: then press "y" and another "y" if it asks you again if the system couldn't read the drive itself. Then this means that your storage on the MP3 Player (that shows as F on your computer) is now broken.
